Hi friends!
Just wanted to give a quick life update. I am wrapping up my last college class, and by the end of the week, I will be done with my associates degree! Praise God! I am so relieved to be past all the late night studying and endless essays…for now.
Since I am no longer a slave to school, I am focusing on much needed family time. I am also studying for my pilot’s license exam and taking more time to knock out more flying hours and license requirements. I hope to complete my license before I leave for Central America.
I have been researching necessary gear and supplies for my trip. If anyone has good advice for certain medicine, travel supplies, or travel tips I would be very grateful! Additionally, any prayer is greatly appreciated specifically for health and safety on this journey.
The plan is to leave for Georgia on January 20. I report to a training camp on the 21st where I will spend one week getting to know my squad and preparing for our journey. From there we will leave for our first country which is still to be determined.
