Hi friends! 

My name is Lucy Segard and I am a high school senior. In early 2022 I plan to trek on a three-month-long mission trip to Central America with the organization Adventures in Missions. I will be spending time in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Panama! I am over-joyed to have the privilege of joining this adventure! 

I have been blessed to grow up in a small town on the island of Marathon in the beautiful Florida Keys. Growing up surrounded by water has inspired a deep love for the ocean and a passion for many aquatic activities such as sailing, kayaking, and scuba diving. I have so many interests, passions, and hobbies but a few of my favorites are going on adventures with friends and family, trying new food, and listening to music. 

I felt called to take a gap semester before committing to a college or trade school, and this Semesters trip was the one God led me to. I have always wanted to embark on a mission trip to not only grow closer to God but to learn how to serve Him more fully and shine His light to others. I am also looking forward to the new friendships I will make with my team members. Words cannot express my excitement to experience what He has in store for these three months!

Of course, there is a financial cost with this trip. I hope to fundraise $5,000 as soon as possible. Any and all financial donations are greatly appreciated!
